Transportation

Manchester is serviced by trains (arriving at Manchester Picadilly, Manchester Oxford Road and Manchester Victoria stations), buses from most major cities in the UK and planes landing at Manchester International Airport.

If you are arriving at Manchester Airport, you can travel to the city centre by train (run by Northern, taking around 20 minutes) and tram (around 45 minutes). You can also use taxis or book a car. For more information visit the airport’s website.

The Oxford Road campus is only a 20 minute walk from the city centre, but there are also plenty of buses connecting the city centre with the university. You can find more information about buses on the transport authority’s website.
